Vodafone launches FRC 244, offering unlimited voice calling and 70GB of 3G/4G data

 

India’ second largest telecom operator, Vodafone India on Monday launched an affordable First Recharge Coupon (FRC) 244 for its new subscribers. The First Recharge Coupon 244 offers its new prepaid subscribers unlimited voice calling (same network Local + STD) and 1GB 3G/4G data per day for 70 days. Under this “FRC 244” special recharge scheme, new subscribers recharging with Rs. 244 can avail free unlimited voice calling to the same network and any region in the country, along with 1GB of 3G or 4G (depending on the circle) mobile data per day for a period of 70 days, totalling 70GB 3G/4G data for the period. Note that, FRC 244 is a First Recharge Coupon that means only new subscribers can avail this FRC scheme and enjoy the best value voice and data proposition in the said period. The new scheme will be valid for a period of 70 days on the first recharge with the amount of Rs. 244, and from the second recharge, the validity span will be reduced to 35 days with the same amount.

Apart from this, there is also a recharge plan called Rs. 346, where the company offers unlimited voice calling along with 1GB 3G/4G data per day for 56 days. Under this Rs. 346 plan, customers recharging with Rs. 346 can avail free unlimited voice calling to any network and any region in the country, along with 1GB 3G or 4G (depending on the circle) mobile data for a period of 56 days. But the voice calls are restricted to maximum 300 minutes per day, and maximum 1200 minutes per week.
The British telecom operator is also offering 5 percent cash back with both the Rs. 244 and Rs. 346 recharge plans for those subscribers who recharge the plan via My Vodafone app. The 5 percent cash back will be credited to the customer’s main account as talk time. The Rs. 244 recharge plan offers Rs. 9.70 talk time, while the Rs. 346 recharge plan offers Rs. 17.30 talk time.
The news comes just five days after Aircel announced an affordable First Recharge Coupon (FRC) 348 for the Uttar Pradesh (East) subscribers. The First Recharge Coupon 348 offers its prepaid subscribers unlimited voice calling (Local & STD) and 1GB 3G data per day for 84 days. Under this “FRC 348” special plan, customers recharging with Rs. 348 can avail free unlimited voice calling to any network and any region in the country, along with 1GB of 2G or 3G (depending on the circle) mobile data per day for a period of 84 days, totalling 84GB 3G data for the period.
BSNL has recently launched a special promotional offer, called the “BSNL Chaukka-444”, where it offers unlimited data including 4GB 3G data per day for 90 days on a recharge of just Rs 444. BSNL’s Triple Ace 333 plan offers unlimited 3G data for three months with a FUP limit of 3GB per day, that

means customers recharging with Rs. 333 can avail a total of 270GB 3G data for 90 days. On the other hand, Idea Cellular recently unveiled a new plan, offering 1GB data per day along with unlimited calls (same network Local+STD) at a recharge of Rs. 396. Bharti Airtel is also offering 1GB 4G data per day with unlimited calls (same network Local+STD) at a recharge of Rs. 244. The Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio has recently extended its “Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan” offer with a new Rs. 399 plan. Under Reliance Jio’s new Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, Jio Prime members can avail unlimited calls and SMSes, 1GB 4G mobile data per day (84GB data for 84days) at a recharge of Rs. 399.
