Dolby confirms its engineers are working on the Dolby Equalizer bug on Nokia 5

NEW DELHI:

NEW DELHI: Some Nokia 5 users around the globe seem to be facing a minor bug related to one of the features - Dolby Equalizer. Users on XDA Developer forum have posted complaints saying that they are not able to access the equalizer using two specific apps, Google Play Music and Spotify.

Several complaints indicate that when Nokia 5 users try to access the DolbyEqualizer from Google Play Music or Spotify, they see a blank screen on their handsets. The equaliser however, works just fine when accessed separately. For now, the issue is being said to occur with these two apps only.A Nokia 5 user also got in touch with Nokia Mobile Care and got a reply from the team saying they are working on the issue. The Dolby engineers are also being said to be working on resolving the bug.

"Referring to your inquiry about your issue in Google Music we saw the video you sent and we would like to tell you that we have knowledge of this problem with the developers for (Dolby surround sound) they told us they are working on a new update to resolve this mistake. In case if you want, you can temporarily download other apps from the Google Store Third Party to resolve the issue," replied the Nokia Mobile Care team according to the screenshot shared by the user on the forum.

The company has not yet mentioned as to when they will issue a bug fix for the equalizer on the Nokia 5.
