Copper gold Nokia 8 leaked in live images, does not have Zeiss logo
Several photos of the Nokia 8 in a
not-seen-before copper gold colour have leaked online. The photos leaked
on Baidu forums and listed by Nokiamob.net show the upcoming Nokia 8
smartphone in full glory and confirm dual camera at the back. But the
phone doesn't have Zeiss logo. The Nokia 8 is expected to come
with dual cameras boasting lenses from Carl Zeiss. The smartphone maker a
while back announced partnership with the optics giant, and renders of
Nokia 8 were posted on twitter recently by leaker Evan Blass, which have
the Zeiss logo like previous Nokia phone, the Nokia 808 PureView and
the Nokia N95.
The photos show an unfinished phone and it could be
a production unit that is yet to get all the final touches before it
makes it to the shelves. The photos also confirm previous leaks that the
phone comes in a metal unibody design with 2.5D curved glass at the
front, dual cameras at the back and a fingerprint sensor in the front.
Interestingly,
the bottom and top part of the phone is also revealed in the leak.
Nokia 8 in photos shows a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top and a USB Type
C port at the bottom with single speaker.
Previous leaks have
revealed Nokia 8 would come with a 5.3 inch Quad HD display and a
Snapdragon 835 chipset with 4 or 6GB of RAM, Adreno 540 GPU and 64GB of
internal storage which will be expandable via a microSD card slot.
Apart
from the copper gold colour, the phone would be available in three
colours at launch - blue, steel, and gold/blue. As far as the cameras
are concerned the Nokia 8 is expected to come with dual camera setup at
the rear with two 13MP sensors with a dual-LED flash and support 4K
video recording, while there could be a 12MP camera at the front for
selfies. Nokia 8 will run Android 7.1.1 out of the box and
will have Nokia's own audio enhancements OZO Audio on board, apart from
the Dolby audio technology seen on Nokia 6. The dual SIM 4G LTE phone is
expected to launch on July 31, but there is no confirmation from the
company as of now. It is rumoured to be priced between 500-600 Euros.
